Shipping and Returns
All products are shipped out from the Smart Stuff shipping location. Smart Stuff drop ships some products and ships direct others. All products are shipped UPS, FedEx or Regular Postal Service. Special arrangements may need to be made for oversize packages. All shipping prices on the site are for the continental USA and will be adjusted for your location. Tracking numbers can be received by emailing info@theworkshopmercedesbenz.com. In the event a product arrives damaged to your location, please follow the steps listed below. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may not be able to be a candidate for the insurance claim.
- Take pictures of the damaged area of the product and email them to us at info@theworkshopmercedesbenz.com.
- Keep the product and its original packaging and box.
- Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s).
- Smart Stuff will contact the shipper once we receive the email info above to schedule a pickup, DO NOT send it back to us.
Once the product is picked up and inspected by shipping company, claim may take 1-3 weeks. Then a replacement will be sent. In the event that the shipping company does not pay out the claim, we will work it out!
The UPS & Fedex Rates shown at time of checkout our dimensional rate from UPS & Fedex. If your shipment weight is to much then contact us for a shipping quote. If there is an error in the shipping rate quoted we will contact you and let you know of the changes.
If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 35% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items wanting to be return or that are damaged MUST be reported within 5 days of receiving the shipment to be considered. No items will be returnable after 30 days. All products shipped from the Smart Stuff Warehouse are shipped via UPS, Fedex or Freight and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. Fedex, UPS, and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Smart Stuff or manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 35% restocking fee.
SMARTSTUFF DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES.
In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or processed wrong by Smart Stuff, we will except the package back and reimburse you for the return shipping on your next order with us. We will evaluate the situation before we determine the shipment was incorrect.
To return an item back to us, please do the following:
- Contact a Smart Stuff Representative to receive a RMA number.
- All packages returned without a Returned Merchandise Authorization number will be refused.
- Package the item up in original packaging unless deemed unusable.
- Include the UNUSED parts and any additional information that was included.
- Include a copy of your receipt.
- Write a brief description of the problem with the product.
- If you have a receipt for the return shipping include as well.
- We DO NOT except any freight collect packages.
- Once we have received the above information we will notify you via email or phone and let you know the status.
Payment Terms
Smart Stuff accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover with appropriate billing and shipping addresses. Smart Stuff also accepts money orders, and wire transfers. All orders can be completed online if applicable or by phone at (800) 992 3694. All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase unless we contact you otherwise. Prices and shipping cost is subject to change anytime because of currency exchange rates.
We accept ALL major credit cards including DISC, also ATM cards with the VISA/MasterCard logo.
Warranty
All products come with the warranty that is applied directly by the manufacturer. Smart Stuff does not offer any of their own warranties and are not responsible for product failures or failures due to installation. All products are intended for use only as suggested by the manufacturer and should be installed and set up by professional service centers ONLY. As stated above we are not responsible for shipping cost other then by our own mistake of incorrect shipping.
Now if you order a part and have it installed by us, then the warranty is 12 months UNILMITED mileage on labor ONLY. Aftermarket performance parts are held to their respective manufactures warranties.
Price Matching
Smart Stuff price matches against other companies to give you the customer the best possible price and service. For us to price match, the product must be:
Sold by an authorized dealer.
Not a clearance item or group buy.
Must be in-stock at time of order.
Must be sold by an actual business, no auctions or personal selling.
Price must be verifiable.
Shipping is not included.
