Q: Do you use genuine Mercedes-Benz & OEM parts when servicing my Mercedes-Benz vehicle?
A: Yes. We use only genuine Mercedes-Benz & OEM parts. Non-genuine or aftermarket (non-OEM) parts could damage your vehicle or compromise its safety or durability. Your Mercedes-Benz Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by non-genuine & non-OEM Mercedes-Benz parts. |
Q: Is there an additional cost for the mobile service?
A: Yes. Our prices are competitively priced and a $27.00 convenience fee will apply to come out and perform the needed service or repair (with the exception of the state sales tax, we do not charge this, we just collect it), however, if additional work/service is found to be needed, you will be given a verbal as well as a written estimate for the cost of such. |
Q: What is your labor rate?
A: $120.00 per hour. There is a minimum 1.5 hour labor charge on all engine/interior diagnostic issues. |
Q: What is your warranty coverage?
A: 12 months UNLIMITED miles. This is on parts and labor. |
Q: What fluids do you use?
A: Fully synthetic. We use full synthetic Mobil 1 0w-40 engine oil for AMG enignes (grade 229.51) and 5w-20/30/50 (grade 229.3/.5) also Mercedes-Benz genuine transmission, power steering, brake, antifreeze fluids and other greases/pastes on all our services. |
Q: Do I have to pay in advance to book an appointment?
A: No. |
Q: Do you service any other types of vehicles?
A: No. Mercedes-Benz is the only vehicle line that we service/repair. |
Q: Do I need to follow the A or B service requirement?
A: Yes, we recommend doing this. A and B services are due approximately every 10,000 miles (for vehicle 1998-2004) and approximately every 12 to 14,000 miles (for vehicles 2005 and newer). For a detailed description of services, click here. |
Q: Do you accept insurance or aftermarket warranty work?
A: Yes. |
Q: How does Mobile Service work?
A: When you book your appointment online or via phone, a service tech will come out to your location and perform the requested service or diagnostics. All fluids are vacuum extracted which makes the service clean, neat and efficient. |
Q: What does Authorized Service really mean.?
A: Authorized service or authorized repair means that only a Mercedes Benz dealer car repair your car IF it is still under the factory, extended, Starmark, or ELW warranty, and you will not have to pay for it. Other than the new car or extended MBZ warranty, any BAR licensed service company can repair your Mercedes. If you have an aftermarket warranty, we can help you. |
Q: Do you have a location?
A: Yes. We are located at 910 81st Ave Unit 24 in Oakland, CA 94621. Our location is not meant for drop-in service, but is accessible by appointment only but only for major services or repairs, such as transmission and or engine replacement, upgrades and major interior repairs. |
